Did you know that Canada is going to celebrate their 150 birthday this year?
The Canadian citizenship amendments have been going through the parliament since the last summer and it’s not done yet. Right now it’s at the final stage of a Senate third reading is occurring, and I’m hoping to see that we’re going to see the new brand Citizenship Act soon.
Under the new Citizenship Act there’s requirements must be much more ease. However, it does not compromise the security requirement we need to protect our Canadian borders. Right now many clients are asking or many of my friends are even asking when it is going to be done, I wish I could say but I don’t know.
So let’s look at our parliamentary system as closely as possible which means that that we are so close and I have a feeling that we’ll have announcements before the Canada Day Celebration.
