Currently, the citizenship application takes about 12 months, for applications received as of April 1, 2015. As of March 25, 2018, there are 193,827 applications in the processing line.
In April 2015- March 2016, 100,175 applications were received and 253,053 applications were granted with citizenship.- In April 2016-March 2017, 113,667 applications were received and 109,554 applications were granted with citizenship.
- In April, 2017- March 2018, 233,332 applications were received and 112,667 applications were granted with citizenship.
