The Mennonite Central Committee Canada, Refugee Sponsorship Training Program, Catholic Crosscultural Services, and the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada, are excited to be partnering with award-winning singer-songwriter and daughter of a Syrian refugee, Audrey Assad, this month for 2 meaningful nights of community and teaching.
The events, hosted in Waterloo and Toronto, will feature a time of music and worship, led by Assad, followed by teaching and training offered by Crossing Borders (a local youth initiative of the Canadian Council of Refugees) and Kaylee Perez (Refugee Sponsorship and Settlement Associate at Mennonite Central Committee Ontario). Come learn about practical ways you can get involved in resettling a refugee family!
