Express Entry System is coming on January 1st, 2015!
Any applicant under economic immigration programs – Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Trade Skilled Worker or some Provincial Nominee – must go through the Express Entry System first before being “permitted” to submit an application for permanent residence to Canada.
Two steps are required:
- Step 1 – a potential candidate must file a profile document to Job Bank Canada, by answering all questions to show her qualification to apply. Citizenship and Immigration Canada would pick two priority classes (workers with Labour Market Impact Assessment and selected provincial nominees) first and finally pick those who score the highest based on four main criteria: (1) Canadian Work experience; (2) Education; (3) Language; (4) Job offer in Canada to send out an invitation to apply for permanent resident status in Canada.
- Step 2 – invited applicants must submit their completed permanent resident application within 60 days from the date of such invitation.
We caution everyone to make sure you are aware of how the current system of “first come first serve” changes to the new system of “best & brightest” to prepare for successful economic applications to Canada.
Was “first come first serve” —– Will be “best & brightest”
