The new Citizenship Act was discussed at the Senate, on Sept 27, Oct 25, Oct 26, Oct 27, Nov 24, Nov 28, Dec 8 and Dec 15. On December 15, it was referred back to the Committee to investigate a couple more clarification. In January 2017, they will be reviewing such report and proceed to the third reading.
