Ask Jennifer: What are the five elements in the Express Entry System?
The Express Entry System is a filter to select good applicants for immigration.
There are five very important elements to this system that will determine whether you are chosen or not.
- Age
- Education
- Language Proficiency
- Canadian work experience
- Overseas work experience
The most important element is language proficiency. If you are not fluent in either French or English, then the Express Entry System is not for you.
Hi Jennifer, I watched your video and I like the way you explained all the method about it. However, am confused about the express entry. I have be since 2008 living in Canada and can I apply for express entry? I wrote celpip test general and my score is L-7, R-5, S-5, and W-4. Please what score I want to be eligible for express entry?
Harry: Your score is too low – all areas should be at least 5. However, if you want to be successful, we recommend at least 7.5 out 9 for IELST or 10 out of 12 for CELPIC.
For further info, you should seek customized consultation to check your possibilities.
Take care and have a good day.
