OINP announced proposed amendments to Ontario Immigration act, open for public comment until May 30, 2019.
OINP proposed an expansion to the in-demand program that would add 3 more occupations, including transport truck drivers. The amendment would also mean a simpler Employer – Job Offer program that would remove the requirement of a Canadian Employee. The Corporate Stream would be eliminated due to not meeting the desired objectives.
